Sunday 23rd Sept saw the under 9 girls take on the under 8 boys in a friendly. It was agreat evening for sport as both teams gave it their all in what was the first match they would have played in. A great crowd turned out to support the future stars of the club and the boys proved just to strong on the day.

The same evening the under 11 girls took on the under 10 boys. This was a very competitive game and (with some dubious refereeing decisions) the boys won 2-0. This would have been the boys first match as 11 a side team so a bit of work to be done before they enter the league next season. The boys have some very good people working with them and that team should do very well.

The under 12 girls play Sat 29th Sept in Bandon at 3.30pm in a friendly. In the under 14 premier league the girls are at home on Sunday to Glounthane. Kick off at 11.00am. Well done to Miriam Rearden who was selected for Irish u15 school trials last Monday.
