NEWS SENIOR LADIES REACH FINAL! Saturday September 26th sees our senior girls take on Crosshaven in the final of the Kevin Barry Cup. What a 1st season these young women have had, they are unbeaten in the League and with three games to go are looking to try and secure that title very shortly. FAI SUMMER SOCCER SCHOOL
Many thanks to all the young boys and girls that participated in the annual Summer Soccer School, another very successful camp was completed and the weather only played havoc with day one the rest of the week was fine, with a few days even getting a glimpse of the sun. We would like to take the opportunity to thank the following schools for welcoming us into them to promote the camp along with FAI RDO David Bell who entertained them with his accent and his tales of days at Manchester United. Many thanks to Ballygarvan, Ballyheada, Goggins Hill, Innishannon, Gurranes and Knockavilla National Schools as a famous person says WE’LL BE BACK...
UNDERAGE AGM
There is a saying from small acorns grow mighty oaks,
and that is the case of the underage section which has flourished beyond
anybody’s imagination. We started 6 years ago with one schoolgirls team
and a committee of four to present day with that schoolgirl team now in
the Cork Women’s and Schoolgirls Soccer League Senior League four
schoolgirl teams, four schoolboy teams, four small sided boys teams and
two small sided girls teams and now to back all that a strong committee
elected at the recent AGM, as follows
